Quote of the month
25th March 1944
I don’t have much in the way of money or worldly possessions, I’m not beautiful, intelligent or clever, but I’m happy, and I intend to stay that way! I was born happy...and I’d like everyone else to be happy too.
Anne M Frank
March 2010 poignantly marks the 65th anniversary of Anne and Margot's death in Bergen-Belsen, just a few short weeks before its liberation by the British army.

Celtic Football Club welcomes Anne Frank Scotland
One of the first projects for Anne Frank Scotland was a major month long exhibition and workshop programme held at Celtic FC's Learning Centre.
Over the course of the month, 25 schools and a total of nearly 1,000 student took part in the project which used the Anne Frank exhibition as a way of demonstrating the importance of challenging all forms of racism, sectarianism and prejudice. In addition to a detailed guided tour of the exhibition, all students took part in one of a series of creative workshops aimed at re-enforcing the contemporary messages from the exhibition.
A highlight of the project for one lucky group of students was a visit from Celtic first team player, Gary Caldwell who was delighted to be able to give his support for the exhibition. He said “Celtic has always played an important role within the community and it is great that, through the Anne Frank project, we are carrying out such fantastic work in promoting respect for different cultures”
There was a massive response to the exhibition from Glasgow’s secondary schools, with pupils eagerly attending every day and we arenow looking forward to continue working with Celtic FC and other football clubs in Scotland.
