In Anne's own words
"...I long to have a home of our own, to be able to move around freely and have someone help me with my homework again, at last. In other words, to go back to school!"

Henry Allingham - world's oldest man and war veteran dies
Staff at the Anne Frank Trust were particularly sad to hear of the death of the world’s oldest man Henry Allingham, one of only three living veterans of the First World War. Henry Allingham was one of the founder members of the Royal Air Force and had fought at the battles of Jutland and Passchendaele.
In January Henry, then aged 112, had made the journey from his home in Goring on Sea to attend the Trust’s annual lunch in January to mark Holocaust Memorial Day as a special guest.
The Trust’s Executive Director Gillian Walnes said, “We were so privileged to have him with us. We were lucky enough tto be able to record an interview with him in which he said how important our educational work was – this will be something we will treasure and put to good use.”
