David Mamet to direct new Anne Frank Film

The famous playwright and filmaker, David Mamet, is in the process of writing a new version of 'The Diary of Anne Frank' for Disney according to Empire online. It is reported to be based on the actual diary as well as the Hackett & Goodrich stage play.
