Where to use Anne Frank in school

Anne Frank work can be integrated into curricula for Citizenship, PSHE, History and English Literature. Alternatively, Anne Frank and related topics can become a whole scheme of work, or module, for studying Citizenship or PSHE or History – particularly in Key Stage 2 and still remain within the National Curriculum.

Shortly, many of the Trust's own resources formerly available only as hard copy will be available as downloads from this page. Please check back soon.

We are also looking forward to the production of a brand new Citizenship scheme of work for Key Stages 3 and 4 to fit to the new curriculum for 2008, completely free of charge. The scheme will be focused on former Anne Frank Award winners and will cover issues such as active citizenship and positive behaviour and community cohesion. This will also be available by February 2008. Please email education@annefrank.org.uk to be on the advance mailing list. Please title your email Awards Scheme of Work.

Links and Resources

A quick Google search will reveal there are many, many sites about Anne Frank and the Holocaust. Sadly, some of them are factually incorrect and some are the work of less well-meaning authors. Following is a list of links and resources we recommend. If you have any queries about the Anne Frank story, the official answer will available at The Anne Frank House site. If you are a teacher and you want your students to research Anne Frank, the official Anne Frank Webguide is a good place to start.
