In Anne's own words

"...I long to have a home of our own, to be able to move around freely and have someone help me with my homework again, at last. In other words, to go back to school!"

Anne Frank Day 2008

Educational resources

The theme in 2008 was the 10th Anniversary of the Anne Frank Declaration and the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and we have produced a set of educational materials for schools together with an Anne Frank address for churches.

There are two assemblies, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. There is also a Powerpoint presentation which includes images of Anne and the Anne Frank Declaration. You may wish to download these to display during your assembly / form session.

You can also download the new style Anne Frank Declaration certificate which can be printed in colour and displayed in your classroom, or given to each pupil after the assembly.

Act of worship

If you experience problems in downloading these materials, please contact us at education@annefrank.org.uk and we will send them to you by e-mail.

We would be grateful if you could email your name and school to our education team so we can let you know when more free resources become available – we promise we will only use your information for that purpose! If you have any ideas for adapting or adding to the assembly, let us know that, too.
