Senior Management Team
GILLIAN WALNES MBE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & CO-FOUNDERGillian was a co-founder of the Trust in 1990, and has been its executive director ever since. She is our principal spokesperson, managing all communications and leading the Trust’s continued development. Gillian has overseen the staging of nearly 200 public exhibitions, and created and planned many national campaigns and projects, including national Anne Frank Day and the Anne Frank Tree planting programme. |

ROBERT POSNER, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICERRobert joined the Trust in August 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Working alongside Gillian, Robert’s role is to manage operations, build on the 20 years of growth and steer the organisation in achieving its next set of ambitious goals. |

MARSHA SELWYN, OFFICE & EVENTS MANAGERMarsha joined the Trust in February 2003. She runs the London office, looking after HR, financial processing and the exhibition’s bookshop. She is responsible for managing fundraising and promotional events. Before joining the Trust Marsha was managing director and general manager of an independent London health club. |

Education Team
Lucy Glennon, HEAD OF EDUCATIONLucy has worked at the Anne Frank Trust since 2004. She is responsible for developing the trust's ongoing education strategy. Lucy is a Fellow in Holocaust Education through the Imperial War Museum and Yad Vashem and has an MA in Holocaust Studies. |

Shona Gibbs, programme delivery managerShona first joined the Anne Frank Trust in 2012. She oversees the delivery of all our education projects in six regions around the UK. Before joining the trust, Shona most recently worked for the Schools Network (SSAT) delivering leadership programmes in London and Manchester. |

Anne Frank Trust Schools Project
MUKITH KHALISADAR, LONDON REGIONAL MANAGERMukith joined the Trust in 2006 from the Prince’s Trust to run the London Schools Project. His time is devoted to securing and developing educational projects; training and leading creative workshops in London, and helping to manage the Anne Frank Ambassadors programme. |

REBECCA COLL, LONDON PROJECT OFFICERRebecca has taken on the role of managing the Anne Frank Ambassadors programme to cover Elizabeth Andrew’s maternity leave. Rebecca first joined the Trust after finishing university as the education team’s communications intern. |

VAL ROSS, EASTERN REGIONAL MANAGERVal is the Trust's regional manager in the East of England and is responsible for education and community programmes in the region. In addition, she has developed and delivered equality and dignity training programmes to a range of organisations and in differing workplace settings. Val is part way through an MA in Pastoral Theology. Prior to joining the Trust Val had worked in the public, voluntary and commercial sectors as a policy maker, trainer, teacher and researcher. |

DAVID EASTON, EAST EDUCATION OFFICERDavid joined the trust in 2012. Working closely with Val, his role is to deliver the Anne Frank education programme in schools around the eastern region. |

GRACE DUNNE, NORTH EAST regional COORDINATORGrace’s work centres round placing Anne Frank: A History for Today in schools, and working with pupils to develop their skills as Peer Guides. She works closely with community and youth groups in the North East, especially Young People in Conversation, an interfaith programme. Previously, she worked in museum marketing and education, completing an MA in Museum Studies. |

ADAM KIRKBY, NORTH WEST regional COORDINATORAdam joined the Trust in April 2010 as Project Coordinator for the Take A Stand project, Burnley. His work centred on engaging young volunteers in creating community-based festivals to challenge racism and prejudice throughout East Lancashire. Adam has since worked in Blackpool as part of a DCLG Ambassador programme for schools. After graduating from the University of Manchester, Adam taught English as a foreign language for a year in Japan. Before joining the Trust he worked for Cancer Research UK. |

MARIAN MCQUEEN, NORTH WEST PROJECT COORDINATORMarian joined the Trust in 2012. She works closely with Adam to coordinate the Ambassadors Programme in schools within the North West. |

GRACE NELSON, YORKSHIRE & HUMBER PROJECT COORDINATORGrace helps students develop the knowledge and skills to become Peer Guides and Anne Frank Ambassadors. She has a particular interest in Holocaust education and helping students understand and challenge the prejudices faced in society today. She helps form links with Bradford’s Resilience Project. Grace is a former RE teacher and has a degree in Theology and Religious Studies. |

ALASTAIR ROSS, YORKSHIRE & HUMBER PROJECT COORDINATORAlastair co-runs the Yorkshire and Humber regional project. He has been involved with Holocaust Education for a number of years and completed the Imperial War Museum Fellowship programme in 2007. He worked as a secondary RE teacher for 11 years and has held a variety of posts in the Church of England. |

HEATHER BOYCE, ANNE FRANK SCOTLAND MANAGERHeather is a qualified teacher with a degree in Theology and Religious Studies who joined the Trust in 2008. She manages programmes throughout the country in schools, secure units, prisons and communities and is committed to working in areas which will truly benefit from the Trust's work. Heather is also responsible for training and development within the education team. |

PAULA FRASER, ANNE FRANK SCOTLAND PROJECT OFFICERPaula delivers guide training and tours of Anne Frank: A History for Today throughout Scotland. She has co-ordinated the development of a new monitoring and evaluation system for the Trust, and developed resources for schools in Scotland, commissioned by NASUWT. She has an MSc in Psychological Studies. Paula works as a part-time postgraduate tutor for the University of Glasgow, encouraging pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds into higher education. |

ELIZABETH ANDREWS, PROJECT OFFICERElizabeth manages the Anne Frank Ambassadors programme and is currently on the maternity leave. Originally from Seattle, she joined as a volunteer intern in 2006 while studying for an MA at Goldsmiths, University of London. |

Anne Frank Trust Prison Project
STEVE GADD, PRISON PROJECT MANAGERSteve manages and delivers the Anne Frank Prison Project and has taken the Anne Frank exhibition to all categories of prison, male and female, from high security to open prisons and young offenders’ institutions. The project has received great acclaim from prisons throughout the UK and from other professional bodies in the prison sector. |

Fundraising
KATIE STOBBS, TRUSTS AND FOUNDATIONS OFFICERKatie researches and prepares bids for major trusts and foundations and reports back to funders about successful grants. She has an MA in International Relations, and has worked in the occupied Palestinian territories for the United Nations Association International Service. She is an active volunteer, having worked on HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness programmes in Lesotho, and as a transcriber for the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Poland. |

SARA POLLINS, MAJOR DONORS MANAGERSara is responsible for securing donations from individuals to fund our work. She has a BSc (Hons) in Social Policy and Politics. Sara has worked in the charity sector as a fundraiser for ten years, working on events, community, corporate and major donor fundraising. She has been a volunteer youth leader and taken part in numerous charity challenge events, including the Capital to Coast Cycle Ride. |

Office & Administration
UNITY SANDASI, ADMINISTRATORUnity has been with the Trust since March 2009. Her role is to provide administrative support to the Office and Events Manager. She also works closely with the Prison Project Manager and supports regional staff. |

MICHELE MURPHY, BOOKKEEPERMichele works on a freelance basis and is responsible for the production of the management accounts alongside the senior management team and helps ensure the smooth running of the Trust’s finances. |

REBECCA OHAYON, FINANCE AND GRANT MANAGERRebecca is responsible for managing the Trust’s finances. She is a Qualified Chartered Accountant (Ernst & Young) with 11 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with Citigroup and Lloyds TSB. Her roles involved analysing and determining strategic focus, product profitability, budgeting, co-ordination with internal functions, and discussion and issue resolution with senior management. |

JULIA CLARFIELD, EVENTS COORDINATORJulia co-ordinates our annual Holocaust Memorial Day Lunch and other events. In the past, she has worked as a marketing professional in the IT industry. |
