On Friday 22nd April 10-11:15am to mark Stephen Lawrence Day, the Anne Frank Trust is holding an exclusive free online learning event for all secondary schools in London.

During the live and interactive learning event, students will have the opportunity to hear from guest speaker author Bali Rai who will share his experiences.

Marking Stephen Lawrence Day, students will have the opportunity to be involved in one of many conversations taking place on Friday 22nd April across the country for a fairer society. They will also have the opportunity to reflect and think how their small actions can make a big difference.

Bali Rai has written over fifty young adult, teen and children's books, and won multiple awards. His culturally diverse writing often pushes boundaries and tackles a variety of issues including racism. Extremely popular in schools across the world, he is passionate about the promotion of literacy and reading for pleasure. His first novel, (un)arranged marriage, was published in 2001. He is currently working on two new projects and his latest title, The Royal Rebel, is out now.

The event will be interactive, with opportunities for young people to participate, ask questions and learn more about our guests.
