Our Statement

We, along with the rest of the country and people from around the world, mourn the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

For most of us, the only monarch we have ever known, The Queen dedicated her life to public service, working to bring us together and support the unity of people across the globe.

We offer our sincerest condolences to Her Majesty’s family and our support to the former HRH Prince of Wales, Charles, our new King as he ascends the throne.

Anne Frank had this image of a young Queen Elizabeth on her bedroom wall in the Secret Annexe, and wrote in her diary about Queen Elizabeth’s birthday, showing the fascination Her Majesty held for so many.
