Last night as I heard the young, being shot by the police a mile away, rubber bullets and looted stores, Banners signs and chanting.

10 days ago the riots began,
When George Floyd couldn’t breathe, 10 days ago the people woke up,
And here we are today.

10 years ago the same thing occurred, Mark Duggan was shot dead,

10 years ago riots began,
But nothing has changed since then.

78 years ago the same thing occurred, People went into hiding,
78 years ago Anne Frank wrote a diary, Hiding away in a flat.

400 years ago slave labour was ended That’s what they say anyway
400 years ago
Yet today they pick fruit every day.
