Anne Frank Trust Statement on Antisemitic Stabbing in Golders Green We are deeply disturbed by yet another antisemitic attack this morning, in which a man was witnessed running along Golders Green High Street with a knife, attempting to stab people of visibly Jewish appearance. As a result of this targeted antisemitic violence, two Jewish men were stabbed after being chased. Our thoughts are with the victims, their family, and the wider Jewish community, and we wish those injured a full and speedy recovery following this shocking act of violence. We are grateful to Shomrim and Hatzola for their immediate response in detaining the suspect and caring for the victims. Antisemitic hatred and violence should have no place in our society. This attack is a stark reminder that prejudice and dehumanisation have real and dangerous consequences. Attacks like this instil fear far beyond those directly targeted, affecting entire communities. At the Anne Frank Trust, we know our work is urgent and vital. When hatred is left unchallenged, it leads to harm - harm that Jewish communities are tired of enduring, and that society cannot afford to ignore. Manage Cookie Preferences
